    Righto, goals were:

    Bank £2 coins and transfer to savings account. nope, again :(

    Restrict self to 2 (small) chocolate bars! Almost, but not quite :(

    Post free trial dvds back NOW!!!! Yep, done :j

    Spend minimum on groceries, have lots of food in! Yep, done :j

    I don't feel too bad - busy week so not much time for anything but uni stuff. Feel a bit miserable cos all my dfw habits are beginning to slip, and the fat free wannabe ones! It's only been since I got really busy with dissertation, final exhibition etc, so hopefully I can go back to my old ways after graduation (july 14th :eek: ). Trying to keep goals simple and not time consuming so that I don't feel too demoralised :rolleyes:

    Right, for the coming week:

    Take fruit to uni to avoid munchies which leads to buying chocolate!!

    Deposit £2 coins in the bank and transfer to savings account.

    Use chill-out time to search quidco for sign up offers etc, every little helps :rolleyes: ;)

    Have a good week everyone :D

    Hello everyone - thanks for the invite to your barbeque SS, but I suspect it might be a little far away ;)

    I've been having a right old time of being overtired and underpowered so I didn't set goals last week in order to try and focus on just getting back on track. I think I'm getting there and I'm pleased that one nagging thing has been settled now that was feeling like an anchor.

    In the positive stakes, we've bought a new fence in the last month but managed a new highest figure in the accounts so we've spent a lot less otherwise.

    Gentle goals for this week:
    1. 2 no spend days
    2. Not to stress about being in charge of opening up/art session/looking after little niece at Mothers&Toddlers
    3. To organise with lady in Gloucs about delivering Freecycle things (would be nice to be rid of these within the week)
    4. To have a nice chilled time on as little cash as possible in town on Thursday
    5. Visit parents cats twice to give them some affection while parents are on holiday
    6. Bank £2 coins
    7. Rebook blood tests after forgetting to go this week :(
    Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending
    £2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:

    ;)OK ....
    1. 3 no spend days. Should be achievable if I overeat at SS's barbecue;). DD & DS returned from uni but did big shop Friday with £6.49 R & R. Also they brought home enough soap powder supplied by me in 1st place to last for months. No, I don't know how they managed to live without washing clothes either......
    2. Revise for exam in 10 days (well, actually, read stuff for 1st time:eek: ).

    3. Convince Egg to extend our mortgage (they are phoning me tomorrow).

    4. Go on exercise bike at least 5 times.

    5. Get off here early enough to cook minestrone soup in pressure cooker (is all prepared, just need to heat & cook.)

    6. Find corkscrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry, luckily bought all screwcap wine on Friday, otherwise would be one less no spend day;)
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Ok here goes, I dont think Ive ever managed to stick to my goals but I NEED too.

    I need to list at least 5 things on ebay to upload on Thursday for 10 days, I have one 'biggy' already in turbo lister so I only need 4 more - surely I can manage that!!!

    I need to stick to my liquid diet hence not spending any money at work.

    I need to do at least one lot of batch cooking, i plan to do this tomorrow as hubs is away :)

    At least 2 no spend days.

    All MS jobs need to fall within budget as I keep on spending over the budget which isnt cost affective.

    Good luck everyone :)

    I've never done this before, so maybe I'll be more focussed this week if I write things down. Here goes:
    1. Plan meals for the week;
    2. Order Tescos delivery with a code (hopefully);
    3. Take my visitors for a cheap day out - site-seeing in the capital!;
    4. Make the meals that I've planned (and not give in to take aways!!);
    5. Phone Inland Revenue to ask when I'll get my tax credits renewals pack;
    6. Finish reading Allan Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking;
    7. It's pay day this week, so check the balances on the DMP and update my signature.
    We'll let's see how I go!
