using spam icons for the paypal threads con

i've read countless entries saying deposit money into my paypal account and e mail 6 other people and they'll send you money. most (if not all) people would agree this is spam and we usually report them to the mods. would it be a good idea for mod to change icon so people reading them at any time can see they're spam. Only mse moderator should be able to change the icon because it's arguably unfair for anyone to change anyone else's icon. Basically have a spam icon. It doesn't take long to read these messages but i think I could be doing better things with my time and find them annoying.

Hi homer, when the moderators (the abuse/Forum team) are dealing with these threads they delete them and deal with the posters so there would be no point in changing the icon of the thread as the thread is gone.

Same if a BG sees one on the board they board guide on they take out the thread and report it to abuse. If, however I see one on a board that is not "mine" I can only post on the thread that I have reported and wait until the appropriate BG or abuse delete the thread.

As most of these "paypal" scams are Americans they generally only stay on the boards for a short time as they tend to post through our night time but please remember that this is a Bank Holiday w/end and people are away or offline enjoying time with their families.
