Mocha, is you local store still displaying the leaflet - bogof - with no exclusions on, today? Need to know - on a mission!!! (T.S. and KS head office).
Wish I knew how to get my scan of the leaflet onto my post here. Advice???:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
They still have the leaflet in my store! Anyway, we've had some good deals - cereal, juice, b beans, etc all bogof. My kids get thru loads of orange juice, so 22p a litre is a great saving. OH came home with 24 bottles (350ml I think) of Belgian lager for £3.99, and 2 bottles of Spanish red wine for £1.99!! (not Kwiksave brand - must be some other deal) Thought that if the wine isn't too bad we might buy a dozen ready for mulled wine at Christmas -he hasn't tried it yet!! Watch this space. The shelves in my Kwiksave are looking very depleted. Are they going over to all branded goods in the future, do you think?Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!
US...........And them............0 -
Anyone else found the offer leaflet - bogof - (with no exclusions or disclaimers in the T & C's) still on display in KS stores???
Let me know please.:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
Sorry for the delay in replying, things have been a bit hectic this week!
Anyway I went back to the same store on Weds. (Gateshead High st.) and picked up two copies of the same leaflet- no changes added to it or pages torn off.
The large promotion signs had had 'Look for the red stickers on qualifying products' added but even this was confusing because certain items had a 'BOGOF' ticket in front of them but NO red sticker!
I didn't query the double charging for the cheese because I was in a hurry but I'm not letting the matter drop.
Hope you've made some progress with your enquiries!0 -
Kwik Save has been sold off from Somerfield and is now a seperate company again.
Dontskipit - Do i detect from your post that you called Trading Standards within 10 minutes of calling HO? Did that give KS a chance to even sort the problems out first?0 -
SOME stores are now a seperate company, not all. If you go to the Kwiksave website it advises you to contact Somerfield about non listed stores!0

171 Stores and the Brand 'Kwik Save' were sold off completely, 102 store retained and to be rebranded by Somerfield, 77 Stores to be sold to competitors. So Somerfield no longer has anything to do with Kwik Save.0

No end of BOGOFs on the Simply and Kwik Save range of goods still available in store at Whittlesey, (nr Peterborough), today.
Spent £6 and came away loaded! Tins of tomatoes work out at 7 1/2p each. Spaghetti 8p pack. Can't find my receipt right now, but well worth a visit!
Couldn't quite understand why the store resembled a ghost town where any other customers were concerned.
They must all have money to burn and gone elsewhere to shop... I dunno.0
