Thats a very good price that i doubt you'll beat to be honest. And if you do manage to better it, id be surprised if it was by much.0 -

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) will be closed between 1200 and 1800 hours every Tuesday from 27th October 2009 to 30th March 2010 due to runway repair and reconstruction work. Private carriers, Kingfisher Airlines (KFR) and Jet Airways (9W), which operate most flights in the afternoon slot, said they have cancelled or rescheduled their flights at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on Tuesdays. These include some domestic operations and a couple of flights on the Mumbai-London and Mumbai-Singapore sectors.0

so i should not land in mumbai on a tuesday or depart on a tuesday0

I would think that if airport is closed for a day / periiod they will inform airlines and airlines will not book you accordingly. having said that Air India aren't one of the best.
Southall travels are one of the cheapest esp for India.
One thing keep in mind that Air India will offer you 46 kg compare to airfrance (23 kg). Also Air France is indirect flight.
so if you want to bring lots of colourful dress , jewelleries (gold or artificials) etc then Air India is good,
These days most of the airlines have reduced the standard of their service anyway so doesn't matter which airlines you fly unless you shell out another £.100
Hope it helps you0 -
I flew to Ahmedabad with Air India.from London. Was a Globespan flight crrew.0
