PPI reclaim FirstPlus or Central Capital

Hi, I hope someone can help, I am new to all this. I have a loan with FirstPlus and was about to use Martyn's first reclaim letter but looking through my paperwork, the initial paperwork was from Central Capital. When I took out the loan (£70,000) the person indicated that it was a large loan and that I would need to take the insurance but that I would get it back in 5 years if I didn't make a claim. I did not want the insurance but felt that I had no choice but to take it - I now realise that this was not the case at all. However, I am now confused as to whether I send the letter to FirstPlus or to Central Capital - can anyone advise me please?

Hello and welcome.;)
You have to write to the ones who arranged the loan for you, so yes in your case Central Capital.
With your reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, keep at them until they resolve in your favour or until they issue you with the final response where they should if eligible enclose the details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS), you can take your complaint to these if your not happy with the outcome.
Below there is a link of the guidelines to reclaiming, you will find template letters, you can use them if you want to or as a guide, also check on the checklist of mis selling reasons, in case any more occur to you, also write all that occurs to you, for a stronger case, although with what you have already posted above it a complaint alone in my opinion.
