Barclaycard Credit Limit decreased again!!

My wife has a Credit Card with Barclaycard and I pay the monthly bills. Within a couple of months of getting it last year her credit limit was reduced from £2,200 to £1,850. I pay the monthly bills for her.
Last month I paid £900. I don't always clear the balance. Today I (or should I say she) has received a letter saying her limit is now £900.
I'm actually starting to wonder how much my wifes limit will be in a few months time. Maybe they'll allow her to go and buy 10 items or less at Tesco's. What a complete joke.
Time to move from this company and over to one which has money to lend. Fortunately she's not relying on it for Christmas.

It sounds like they've already decided to decrease the limit but were unable to do so because of the balance on there. When the balance came down sufficiently, they brough the limit down to where they wanted it to be.
From my experience to Barclaycard there is usually reasoning behind this, as they're clearly not happy to extend her that level of credit now.0 -
