Replacing cracked glass on mirrored furniture

I have bought a reduced mirrored chest of draws from Next.
The mirrored top has a chip and ideally the top needs to be replaced. I have received a quote from a local glazier to make a new top for only £10.50.
Does anyone have any advice as to how I can carefully remove the cracked glass top to glue the new piece to the wooden frame. The existing glass is glueded to the frame. I am worried about breaking the other two sides of glass.
I can of course ask the glazier, but am greatful to receive any advice from forum users.
Thanks in advance.
