Bought on finance a new PC, a camcorder and a TV/DVD player for the main bedroom from PC world in June this year, the TV/DVD player came minus the remote and after several phone calls gave up and brought a universal control, now the Camcorder is playing up cannot find the disk and then went to put a DVD on the new TV and it will not work, granted i went for the budget side of the market but surley this is down to PC world to sort out, i have tried calling tonight but no joy, has anyone had any luck of getting things replaced or repaired or where do i stand on getting this problem resolved. there seems to be no way of emailing a complaint to them direct and all phone calls are diverted to call centres who tell me to go to my local store. HELP!!!!
ok that post was so badly constructed i gave up reading,
sorry to sound harsh but to get good answers you need to give clear relevant info in short points, be too the point and outline dates and model numbers if you can.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
Point taken, got carried away so mad with it all0

I can't work out what the issue is either, but at five months old they're all under warranty, so if they don't work, take 'em back!
Not that PCW will have much idea either. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

On what possible grounds do they say they can't take them back? They are talking complete carp. Take them back to the shop (you will need some evidence of purchase though, the finance will have been through a third party), say politely that the goods are not fit for purpose and that you want a refund or repair under the Sale Of Goods Act 1979, and stand there until they oblige you.
And make a note never to buy anything from PCW again. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
