Looking for good hotel/rail deal to York from Stevenage early December 2009 ?

Look on the York Website,
There are literally thousands of B&Bs, hotels, guest houses.
You need to narrow it down a bit as to your budget.
York is absolutely wonderful especially at Christmas.
Go to the Castle Museum, on the York Boat if its still going then.
National Railway Museum is walkable from the City Centre is free
but dont take your car, the parking charges are astronomical.
The Jorvik Centre is a complete rip off and not very good.
Lots to do and brilliant shopping.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
