I'm fairly sure there was a case a few weeks ago where somebody did get his money for time wasted . Had to go to court, I think.0

man, i am in this barclays, homesos,warmsure eaga boat now.
same sad story. some lame engineer from warmsure has a cursory look and declares the heating plate broken. then the call to homesos and then to barclays.
i have given barclays and homesos an ultimatum to pull up their socks and resolve this issue in the next 36 hours failing which i will take all action including closure of barclays accounts. seeme to have some effect that homesure called me and gave me the warmsure eagea number.
apparently there is some sla between homesos and warmsure eaga, that is where they get there crap 5-7 working days sla.
guys & gals do you have any tips for me. what is the best way to resolve this.

BG non gas emergency callout is no better.
On 22 December the soil pipe at my grandmother's property cracked spewing toilet waste all over her conservatory. She's 95 and housebound.
On 23 December Dynorod came out, priced it and sent for approval from BG - 4 Jan today and still no workmen have arrived to fix it, the last straw came yesterday when we were informed an assessor would be out to cost the job!
Avoid like the plague.0 -

sadly homesos is a big joke and one can not expect anything of these jokers. i ended up going with a maintenance contract with british gas , possibly that is the way forward.
i am in the middle of a complaint to whoever regulates homesos. i was wondering if we could pursue some sort of a class action suit (?)against barclays and homesos. surely barclays is aware of this pathetic service. i have been sent a letter stating that the sla is 7 working days, as long as the appropriate parts are available!!0 -
I have a premier life account with barclays , and i had to ring homesos as i had a leak behind my sink , upstairs in the bathroom. when i phoned up they said they be there in 3 hours.
The homesos engineer came from northampton, and had a look and said and quote " its a perferated pipe and i will have to send the job back to barclays as i would need permission to do this"
he said it be only for a day or so, and i said fine.
3 days later i was instructed to remove some tiles and bath panel in order for the engineer to access the job. 2 days later i have a phone call from eagawarm sure which are the switchboard for homesos, stating it be another 2 days!! i could not live without water for a week!! that day my ceiling came through.
The second engineer came out and was shocked to see what happened.
He said this job was a 10min job and it was only a nut that was leaking and only require a redirection which the first engineer could have done as all standard emergancey callout services would have on the van.
he took pictures of the damage and said he would personally make the complaint on my half also.
i made a complaint and i have now just been informed that i would not be eliable for compenstation as I DONT LIVE THERE?? well i have just sent them proof that i have done since feb 2011 and if they dont rectify the job within 7 days then within 28 days i will be issuing them with a court order.
there a joke.!!! just to let you all know that HOMESOS based in richmond will be no longer working on behalf of barclays from sep 2011 as the amount of complaints have reached 20,000 and still counting! so get your compenstaion in as soon as possiable before they get dettached.0
