    Yea but they only ask for outgoings on mortgages and some loans not credit cards and bank accounts so much..... but valid point, however it wouldn't add up if the lender asked to see payslips and bank statements - this would show the same salary as declared but the outgoings would show the full mortgage amount which will also show on the credit file.... so say he pays £1000 pm mortgage and only accounts for £500 on his outgoings, this would show up and the lender 'could' add a cifas due to applying for credit falsifying major details (mortgage repayment is quite important).
