i grew up on a very small island called Malta as kid and i almost certain that 33 years ago i was not force feed glutine free stuff... pasta's not pasta if you miss thing outta it. my little girl been eating it since birth almost. she's never left our plates alone when eat. just remember what we ate when were kids. most adults my age dont seem to have the same problems most teenage kids and younger have today on these so called special diets. good old fashion healthy eating is what they need.0 -
My kids are in their 20's now so I accept that I'm behind the times with this but if under one year old they aren't to have gluten I'm baffled - gluten is in wheat flour and oats, babies have bread and porridge don't they?0

ive never heard of the gluten thing before either and ive worked with children for the past 10 yrs and have 2 of my own lol
as for the pasta we use the mini ones in tesco,farfallini or something like that ,not too expensive0 -
My kids are 6 and 3 and I was def told no gluten before 6 months. This was when you were told to wean at 4 months though. Wonder if advice has changed recently?0

I've not heard of this either...mine ate everything and are now six foot tall so I dont think they could have come to much harm.x x x0

Morrisons also sell mini pasta bows and mini macaroni. I used these all the time when I was weaning my son and he still loves them!:smileyhea0
