Cineworld contract leniency

Hi
I just wanted to say how wonderful Cineworld have been to me. I was paying £54 per month for unlimited passes (with a minimum 12 month contract, of which 6 months remained) for me and my family, but we couldn't afford to keep paying out for these each month. I sent an e-mail to Cineworld to ask that they allow us to cancel the passes, and they very kindly cancelled these immediately without any hesitation.
I am very impressed with Cineworld and I think that customer service like that is unusual nowadays!

That's very good of them.
I was disappointed when i looked into getting one (was planning a day out seeing lots of films) cause all the signs by the checkout in the cinema say 'unlimited cinema from £13 a month!' but then there's only a whole year option0 -

They mean you can pay monthly but you sign up for a whole year's worth. Or you can pay the whole amount in one go like I do.
It is a great deal. If you take your own sweets/water then you're quids in if you see more than 3 films a month. Even with the recent price rise it is still a good deal.0 -

Yeah i see how it works from the website and i can see how it's great for people that go a lot.
It just seemed a bit sneaky that the TVs they have behind the counter don't mention it's a 12 month subscription. I'm a 25 min walk and £3 tram ride from cineworld so i don't really go that regularly but it would have been nice to go along for a day & see the things i've missed in the last few months.0
