reclaiming bank charges

I am in the middle of reclaiming bank charges from the Halifax, does any one know if I move my account to another bank am I still entitled to claim any charges owing ? Thanks :confused:

    dont know why people can claim back charges people obviously knew what the t+c s were when they went overdrawn ect
    no wonder the country is in the sXXt

    what with this and the compensation culture i dread to think whats next

    If the terms and conditions and specifically the terms for charging can be assessed for fairness under the Unfair Terms In Consumer Contract Regulations 1999 then it is irrelevant if the OP rode the bank like his personal biatch, they would still be repayable.
    It is nothing to do with the culture but the greed and arrogance of the banks that has lead the vultures to feed on their carcass. They sowed the seeds and they are reaping their "rewards". Utter pathetic nonsense post and utterly useless to the OP.
