I live in an apartment block with my number prominenently displayed. If a new postman or worse a courier service delivers mail, quite often they post my mail at another apartment upstairs. I suspect I am loosing some mail and when a courier leaves a card I sometimes never get the card on time and the goods are returned to the supplier. Can I insist that my neigbour puts a number on his door?

Have you tried talking to them (the flat owners) & asking them to post anything for you through your letterbox? I have had this situation several times when I was living in flats & it was a PITA to have stuff returned to sender. If you don't want to contact the other resident then how about a letter to the freeholders or tenants assoc?0
