Reasonable delivery time given strikes

I was just wondering what people would call a reasonable delivery time whilst the royal mail strikes are on? I bought an item 3 weeks ago and have not received it yet, and whilst being fully understanding of back logs etc, there has to be a point at which it becomes unacceptably late.

It worries me slightly that some sellers may not worry about posting items as quickly at the moment as they can not only blame the strikes for delays, but they also cant get poor ratings for delivery times at present.

My post is arriving as normal so I would certainly be questioning sellers within a couple of weeks strikes or not.

  • 1 of my item tooks 6 day to arrive to me after i bought it, which isn't bad as the seller might have taken a couple of days to post it.

I posted a couple of parcels Wednesday and they arrived yesterday so you should have had your goods by now.

Umm, might be a case of the latter .... I wonder if some sellers are taking advantage of the stikes, as i received the 'your parcel has been posted' email the day after I won it. Could have got lost in the post, but i'm not one for giving the benefit of the doubt!!!

Also bought something 10 days ago thats not arrived, which is why i thought it may be the royal mail not the ebay sellers.

I've just had to open disputes for 3 items that haven't been received. Sellers say they posted weeks ago, but still they don't arrive. I have since had other items I won and paid for after those auctions arrive, so I assume they either haven't posted them at all or they are lost in the post.

I had the same worry. How long do I wait before long enough is enough..
