Burnt by Waxing Treatment

I disagree. If you are going to contact them directly you MUST follow the pre-action protocol for personal injury claims.0

When you take photos, take several a few days or a week apart and hold up a copy of that days newspaper so that the date is clearly visible. You may not need them but, if the burn is fairly severe and likely to take a while to heal, proof of how long the damage actually lasted would be useful if you do pursue a claim.ELITE 5:2

Hi,
Thank you again for your replies, it's very much appreciated. Just to update you the owner of the salon rung me earlier and was very sympathetic and apologised profusely. She also told me that the wax machines are temperature controlled and has told me it's unlikely to be a burn as it would have affected a bigger area and it's much more likely too much skin got removed by the wax. I did explain to her what happened when I returned to the salon and she was less than happy with the service I received and has informed me she will be dealing with it and will be in touch again with the result. I've been given a huge tub of aloe vera gel from them now (it was dropped off earlier) and have been told how to treat it to make it go away quicker.
Either way, burn or scratch, I have the apology that I wanted so am happy with that. However, I will definately think twice before going back there! My lesson has been learnt!0 -

sounds like a good customer service from the owner, good to see you getting somewhere.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
Please post again when you hear back from the owner on how she dealt with the staff!!
Sounds like at least she understands what it takes to run a good business, so hopefully the rude members of staff will get at the very least an ear bashing!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
