Its fine, got the new assessment through yesterday, a little more than we were paying but thats ok. Got 3 weeks arrears which is fine, she just sent some nasty text messages last night saying she was claiming back money !!! We had no proof, case of naievity, cash in hand, school trips, uniforms etc. Knew we wouldnt be able to fight it, just wondered if she could.
Thanks so much0 -
Thankyou so much for the advice, Hope fully it will all go smoothly for us. I will look at getting a "contract" between us and get witnesses

I think you need to have it very clearly stated by the CSA that the case is CLOSED and not just put on hold or something ... like has happened to the person in the other thread going on here at the moment.
I would want something in writing from the CSA stating "We confirm that from the date your account was closed (??/??/????) you will not accrue any arrears whilst you have a private agreement with the PWC. Only if the CSA are contacted and the account opened again will we be involved in your child support payments". Or something along those lines lol
When we spoke to them yesterday, the guy said that it was on our records that the case had been closeddue to private arrangement. I asked him about arrears from teh last case and thats what he said, you have no arrears as (see above)0 -
I'd still want it in writing Bellio lolAugust GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

Same goes for tax credits, their advisers don't like me much. lol
If I want something to fall back on in case they make a mistake, I either ask for it in writing or I take the name of the adviser, all details about them I can, record the time and date of the call and get them to state it clearly on the phone, informing them I have recorded all the information if it comes back to me and I'm told something different ...,August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

I was slightly incorrect and others (I hope) are right. as my case was never closed (for whatever reason, they cant explain) the has been able to file for backpay. Close it...then assume they cant claim.
mine was converted to new rules so they dont take into consideration ANY of my household bills. NOWT NOTHING NUDDER0 -
