Bulldog cancellation

Not one hour ago (Saturday afternoon of a Bank Holiday weekend) I got a call from Bulldog's customer complaints dept. I'd complained over a month ago that they had broken the terms and conditions I'd signed up for by imposing a £50 up front fee so that 09 numbers may be called by their customers. The woman I spoke to said that their service will end on Tuesday giving me no time at all to set up another telecoms provider. Spite on their part I think. BT have already informed me that the cancellation request is with them and that it takes them 10 working days to sort out number migration. As i type I'm frantically trying to get Bulldog and BT to co-ordinate things so there'll be no break in service. Bearing in mind that the phone and broadband are likely to die on me quite soon, can anyone suggest what I might do?

Get bulldog to pull their socks up, as soon as they release the line then BT can work on it, until then BT will pretty much have to wait0

Make sure that Bulldog are following their own Code of Practice on Domestic Disconnections - especially the timescales they quote.
