I would like you to try !!
No need to be like that if you disagree with what i have posted and think i`m wrong then that's fine, but i`m only talking from experience there is no need for threatening comments like that..
And no I don't work for a parking company..
Im a company car driver who has been on the receiving end of the lease company's scam of a fine/ppc + admin fee..0 -

But your original post has been removed now and wherever we have quoted it, the MSE 'abuse minesweeper' has removed that as well? And the post to which you replied has been removed too even though it was just clearly meant to be funny! It wasn't threatening, it was clearly a joke because your post made it seem you were from a PPC.
What is going on with all this 'posts & quotes removal'?
Doesn't change the fact that we all did disagree with you urging the OP to pay which was TBH pointless advice. If the lease company haven't paid the ticket yet (they may not actually yet have actioned the payment) they should be informed by the OP NOT to do so as it's not a real parking ticket.
Sorry to hear you got scammed yourself, I think lease companies need to get real and understand when a parking ticket is not a parking ticket. Glad to hear you don't work for a PPC though, it's not a real job is it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I did not find the other post funny..
I reported my own post and asked it to be deleted because it of the flaming it was receiving, but in round about way a few other people said what i did in my first post.
The point about the lease companies is still a vilid point, now I don't know if his particular lease company has actioned the payment or has any apeal process, but from my own experience our lease company pay what ever fine/pcn comes though the door and passes it onto the company with an admin fee of £25. by that point there is no comeback, its in the lease agreement and its something we just have to live with, this has left me a super careful parker these days..0 -

Your Fleet Manager not up to renegotiating the terms of the lease to stop his/her drivers being scammed with fake tickets then? Or using a new lease company and insisting that all non-Council/Police tickets are NOT PAID but instead sent to him/her (as they are in fact only for the driver anyway?)
Not as far-fetched as it sounds, on pepipoo there are a few Fleet Managers who are aware of this scam and by word of mouth this could change. It would never change though, if we all felt these things were 'something we just had to live with'.
There's also a poster on here who says he only uses car-hire companies who are willing to alter their hire terms specifically to exclude private rip-off tickets. If they won't do this then they don't get his business.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I wonder if a ppc just started sending lots of invoices to his company, would they still pay them without question. If the answer is yes, let me know the name of the company. I could do with a few bob for xmas.
Where's the "tongue in cheek smily"I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

That's the way those people who operate the fake trade or fax directory scams make their money. They send out invoices to companies and there will be a some accounts departments that will pay the bill, no questions asked. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I too have just recieved a £50 " fine" as i also pulled into a Moto service area at 11.27pm knackered..towing a trailer behind my 4x4..so a dangerous thing to continue when i could easily have fallen asleep..puilled over..had a coffee at Pease Pottage services just north of Brighton, then closed my eyes with the intention of having 20 minutes or so sleep. I woke up at 5am ! ..so clearly needed the sleep..and continued my journey. I have now found out that unless this company ( CP PLUS ) can prove who the driver was..and I aint gonna tell them ! they cant pursue it..and also as its on private land..they cant legally enforce it either..so will keep on trawling the internet forums till i know i have enuff info. I,ve got until 27/10/10 then it goes up to £80 ! They even have photographic eveidence showing me entering the services..and leaving ! It almost makes it worth while having a false set of plates made up..putting them on just before you leave..then removing them once out of the services !! before continuing your journey !! hhmmmmmmm he thinks..stroking his chin in a thoughtful way !!! but thanks to all folks who have given advice to previous victims !!..and i,ll try and remember to log in and post an update !!0

They don't have a picture of the DRIVER entering and leaving, they only have a pic of the car. As they need to charge the DRIVER and not the RK then they are stumped. Well done for ignoring.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
