A 40th Birthday Bonanza - no cash required

It was my OH's 40th this week. A few months back he was put at risk of redundancy, and as we won't know for sure until June, he said I was not to spend money on his birthday...
So being a thrifty MSE-er, I took him at his word and made it my mission to give him a great day, without spending one penny of our own money, and this is how I did it (with much help from MSE forumites):-
1. Signed up to Pigsback - doing click-throughs and sign-ups, I managed to accumulate enough points to get £25.00 of Leisure Vouchers, and using the links for BOGOF offers, had enough for a slap-up meal at TGIs - no money required - value £25
2. Took a test drive in a Ford Fiesta to get the 10,000 Nectar points offer from the Sunday Mail, which I then used to get 2 free cinema tickets to see Mission Impossible III - no money required - value £13
3. Used the same Nectar points to get a Thorntons Celebration birthday cake from Sainsburys - value £8
4. Using various WH Smith bonus point vouchers (and managing to find some items reduced to silly prices) managed to get a great birthday card (with a badge, no less!), plus wrapping paper and "forty" shaped birthday cake candles - value £6
5. Took a test drive in a Mitsubishi for a free Hotel Chocolat gift - this didn't work, as they lost my details, but it was a good try! (value £12)
6. Signed up at a bookies, through Quidco, and using match betting, to get a free Football shirt - value £40
7. Instead of frittering away a few Tesco points here and there off my shopping, I savvied up and managed to accumulate enough for a Driving Experience Day through Clubcard Deals - value £165
So, with a bit of time and effort, and lots of help from other money savers on here, I managed to give my OH a birthday worth will over £200, and it won't have cost me one single penny!
For those who scoff at me because I spend my spare time surfing here, this just shows you what you can do with a bit of effort, if you know where to look.
A big big thank you to everyone who takes the time to post their finds on here that makes this possible!
