Guess you will have to ask the previous occupant.You will probably have a forwarding address or the estate agent or landlord will help.
And take readings off your meter NOW. Don't forget the water meter too.
You could check if anything is on the meter (Label or sticker) , or ask a neighbour if she knows who the supplier is.
If you just ring, say BG or \NPower they are likely to sign you up without authority.0 -

For electricity, you can phone MPAS (the metering point admin. service)
they will tell you what your supply number is and who your current supplier is.
