Current supplier?

hi,

sorry might seem a dumb question, but ive just moved house and need to find out whoes the current gas/ele supplier how do i go about it?

Guess you will have to ask the previous occupant.You will probably have a forwarding address or the estate agent or landlord will help.
And take readings off your meter NOW. Don't forget the water meter too.
You could check if anything is on the meter (Label or sticker) , or ask a neighbour if she knows who the supplier is.
If you just ring, say BG or \NPower they are likely to sign you up without authority.

ive already taken care of the water, just the gas/elec to take care of.

For electricity, you can phone MPAS (the metering point admin. service)
they will tell you what your supply number is and who your current supplier is.

I don't know about gas, there must be something similar.

The number for finding your gas supplier and your m-number (gas supply number) is 0870 608 1524
