It's definately worth a pound. I joined up and have just received my first divi. Got £3.10 into my Smile account so I'm up on the deal. I use a local Co-op store but they don't take the card yet a Co-op half a mile down the road does. I always thought that the Co-op was the Co-op but, apparently, not !0

No there are several, but the actual scheme is run by "The Co-operative", the biggest society. Some of the smaller co-ops have also opted into the scheme, but other big ones (ie Lincolnshire Co-operative) still run their own schemes.
Any co-op food stores that take the card would display the 'bee logo' from the below link.

I found this confusing. I moved from a "Midcounties Coop" area to a "Cooperative" one, and didn't notice the difference. The new store carried on swiping the card to add points, and the points were added succesfully. It was only when they sent the dividend vouchers out and I tried to exchange them in the shop and couldn't get the till to accept them that they eventually figured out they were for a different coop. Having several different organisations with identical branding and varying degrees of interoperability of the membership schemes seems needlessly confusing, and I couldn't find any info on how this all worked on the web.0 -
