can you still get parts for Rovers?

Let me know where you can get a brand new Honda for £2895 and I'll be there like a shot.
ML.
If I knew I would have a couple already, lol.
I meant when they were new, the Rover 25 and Rover 45 were just based on old Hondas, now that is not a bad thing but why pay £11000 for a new Rover 45 which is based on an old Honda when you can get a new Honda for the same money.
Like I said before it is a real shame that Rover went down the pan. With better management, some investment and some proper backing they could achieve some very decent results. The Rover 75 was a good car and when BMW flooged the company for £10
they made sure they kept the Mini.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

That was because the rest of the range was old BL crap or re-hashed out of date Hondas.
The original mini was good, then it went downhill until the new mini. Remember the allegro? metro? princess? sherpa?

The 25 wasn't based on a Honda at all. It was a decent enough car in it's day although when it was originally launched as the 200 BMW tried to market it in the wrong segment.
The 45 was a joint development with Honda. Honda sold it as the Civic. It always made me laugh when the original 200 was launched and they made both Rovers and Hodnas at longbridge and people still said buy the Hondas as it's better built!
Personally although I think Rovers get mor stick than they deserve I wouldn't buy an old one and certainly not for that money. The 25 was a rehashed 200 so it wasn't a particularly modern car when it was launched. Plenty of other better cars about. The K Series engine also has a reputation for head gasket problems, which is a pity really as apart form that it's actually a really good engine. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
