    I bought a big bulb of fennel in Morrisons on Wednesday, reduced to 40p. This evening I made a chicken dish with it: sliced and steamed the fennel, chargrilled and sliced chicken fillet, put both in a casserole dish and covered with a white sauce flavoured with a chicken stock cube, 1 tbsp tarragon vinegar and a teaspoonful of Dijon mustard. Grated a bit of mousetrap cheddar on top. Bunged in oven for half an hour til golden and bubbling, and served with roast potatoes and broccoli from the garden. Et voila, Chicken a la Francais, a new moneysavers recipe! It was delicious and OH was well impressed.

    * Quidco clicks
    * Have two listings ready to upload to eBay after Big Bro
    * Compared nappy prices in Boots for best offer then used a £1.50 off coupon and triple points. (Cheeky but I registered with Pampers using a new email address as they never send me coupons these days!)

    oooh...was inspired after posting and have listed 39 things on Amazon now. Also cancelled Lovefilm trial (through quidco) to make sure I don't pay for it!! Did a few clickthroughs - checked free fivers, quidco & pigsback.

    Need to go to bed!

    Shazzer...
    do you know that if you don't intend to use your clubcard vouchers for something in the tesco book i.e. mfi etc you could sell them on ebay.
    They normally go for double the value...i.e. £9.50 would probably reach approx £19.
    Take a look at ebay and you'll see what I mean.
