Capital One address?

Hi,

Does anyone know an address for Capital One where I can send a recorded letter? The address on the statement is just a P.O box number.
I need to send a letter requesting the closure of an account and will enclose a cut up credit card, so want to send it recorded.
Cannot close it by phone as it is OH's account and he cannot cope on the phone.

Just send the recorded letter to:

Capital One Card Services
P.O. Box 5283
Nottingham
NG2 3YJ

No problem sending recorded letters to a PO Box address?

Thanks Sim,

I just assumed that there would be no-one to sign at a PO Box address!

We have a PO Box at work - in our case it is delivered with the rest of the mail. I believe larger organisations use them as a way of managing the large amount of mail they get.
