Birmingham to Ipswich
DD has a trip to Ipswich to make from Birmingham using public transport on a Friday evening and then returning on the Sunday afternoon/evening.
I'm really struggling to see how to do this, Sunday seems to be a particular problem. Any combination of buses and trains would suffice. Is there anyone out there that enjoys the challenge? If so please see what you can do to help, it would definately be appreciated

Try this, use the NXEC website, enter your stations, dates, number of passengers and click 'more options' then add 'avoid London' this will show you your travel options and price £66.30 can be reduced if daughter has a railcard.
If you click on one of the trains it will show you where to change all the trains only have one change.
Hope this helpsWhoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
That's great - the "avoid London" bit makes all the difference, without that I was having great difficulty especially the return journey on Sunday and I was using the more general trainline website. Thanks0
