just had a few rooms in my house skimmed and stupidly forgot to cover up/ take off my brushed steel sockets and switches so they have got a bit splattered in plaster...
whats the best way to get the plaster off and clean them without scratching them or damaging the finish?
thanks
Matt

I would dampen the plaster with water (with due regard for the fact they are live sockets) then scratch off with my finger nail.0

Agree that finger nail should work fine. plaster dries and just comes off.0
