Reclaiming mortgage PPI - does it affect my financial advisor

Evening all,

if I try and reclaim my mortgage PPI, does it affect the financial advisor that sold me the policy?

I know mine personally, so don't want to damage our relationship.

Many thanks

Yes. If upheld, the adviser typically has to pay the excess in any claim. This is typically around £2500-£5000.

However, if it was mis-sold then then it was bad advice and the adviser shouldnt get away with it. It if wasnt mis-sold and you are just trying it on, then shame on you.

Why do you think your MPPI was mis-sold?
