Wow. Ok, YOU win :rotfl: !!!

I dont get it, especially when THEY get in touch, you speak to them & then they tell you they have a girlfriend or arent interested, and you think "Why bother".

MEN!!!!!    Just kidding. Its quite flattering really knowing that he hasnt met anyone quite as, er, special since me (and as I said, we only went on a few dates....)

Can anyone beat 19 years? By the way - what happened? What did you say?

Have you noticed it's always the ones that dumped YOU that get back in touch. How long does it take these guys for the penny to drop that they did the wrong thing? :rotfl:

The 19-years guy "tracked" me down (scary!) via the internet and told me how much he'd like to see me again. I refused as he was living in another country and he offered to "come over".   It eventually emerged that he was having a tricky time with his wife (who was the next gf after me). Maybe he was working his way backwards?

Anyway, I blocked him from my email - thankfully, I'd never given him any other details!

    Phew! Lucky escape.

My friend says never go back unless they turn up with an engagement ring.
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

I hope the old flames getting in touch thing isn't contagious on this thread...

I've not spent anything today as I went through more than enough yesterday... and my vague plan to check out another Farmers Market was pretty doomed as it's not great that it falls the day after my regular one!

I blame the site (see what would you do with £5 thread!!). Just spend 1p plus postage of £2.79 on that "save Karyn" book!!!! Mind you intend to make a profit & sell in UK when I've read it & make the money back plus a bit more!! See, getting the hang of it now!!

Urgh went to Lidl and then Tesco - both were packed out - think it must be to do with the rain and the first Saturday after most people's pay day. Miserable experience! Anyway I spent £36 in Lidl and £22 in Tesco (not brilliant).

After months of being really good, I've had a disastrous weekend so far regarding spending. Fish and chips last night £14.75, then today I took my son to the opticians as he couldnt see out of his glasses. Decided that he needed a new pair as the old ones were over 3 years old and theyre all bent up and hanging at an odd angle on his face. So even with NHS vouchers they cost £150. Then there was the haircut. The cheap hairdresser could not cut his hair so I relented and allowed him to go to the trendy one as his hair looked truly dreadful. It hasnt been cut for about 3 months. It cost me £25 but what a great haircut. It looks like the hair of the lead singer of Muse cos my son has really black hair and it really suits him. So although I'm feeling fed up about the money I can't be really sorry as my boy looks so nice now with his new glasses and haircut.
