(that happened to me in 2004 actually......!)
Looks like a no spender for me today...my only one this week...better late than never. It's only cos of the rain though!
Think I will postpone grocery shopping till tomorrow...
A bit odd really. I only dated the guy for a few weeks, then we bumped into each other a few years ago on a train, spoke again & then lost contact again..
Flattering I suppose. I tend to "grow" on people, like 4 years after we actually meet, hehe!!
Well done on No Spend Day - my only one this week too. Tut, Tut!!
You may be able to pick up more bargains if you go tomorrow (unless its Tooting Sainsbury's, who NEVER have bargains - I want to move near Penny Pincher - she always finds the best buys!! :rotfl: )0 -
"Growing on people"
Yes that happened to me a lot as well! I like to think that they went off thinking that they could get "a better deal" then found out they couldn't and tried to get a second chance...4 years later or whatever...:rotfl:
<Well I can dream....>
I will be going to the Peterborough Sainsburys tomorrow so I hope you are right re: bargains.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Haha!! That happens to me ALL of the time!! They obviously didnt realise that we were so great - we obviously made a lasting impression.
Bless us!! :rotfl:0 -
60p on car parking
£9 on fruit n veg from the market
£1.25 on eggs at the market
£10.01 in Sainsburys
So £20.86 which sounds alot... but isn't really when I compare it to what I used to spend on food shopping for the week
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

My record is an ex getting in touch 19 years after we dated! Now, that's what I call "growing" on someone! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Spending today is £18 for a weekly shop in Asda. Might even stretch it to ten days if I remember I'm a FFW as well! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
