The next (not) super6 is in the Aldi leaflet.

Tomatoes, Radish, Cucumber, 4pk Baking Potatoes, Avocado and Beetroot

Has there been a glut of beetroot this year? Every other Super6 seems to include it. I didn't mind when I was stocking up on it to make Beetroot Chutney but that's been made now and it would be nice to see something different!!:(

:(All to do with dismal spring and summer we had this year. There was an article in yesterday's Telegraph that mentioned beetroot's one of the few crops that did well. Think the others were cabbages, cauliflowers, chard and celery. Anything that needed heat and light or was sown early like courgettes, tomatoes, carrots and potatoes did poorly.

I copy and pasted that post from the original.:o
I can double check later by going to the store if nobody else has been.
I am only interested in the potatoes if they are new, I don't need baking potatoes.
