    no courgettes in my local Aldi today, replaced with cabbages instead :(

    Has anybody else found there are no courgettes even though advertised?

    Yes, savoy cabbage instead of the courgettes in North Essex. I'm pleased as I'll make bubble and squeak but the parrot's not impressed.

    Went in this morning and thankfully the courgettes were back! Must have just been a temporary supply shortage.

    they change tomorrow (25th) and run until Sept 7th. The new lot are:

    Cauliflower
    Savoy cabbage
    Garlic (4 pk)
    1Kg onions
    Chantenay carrots
    Grapes snack pack

    I'm not overly impressed with this little lot. Cauliflower for me if they are a decent size only, I bet they're tiddlers.

    On the website it has the grapes at 19p and the onions at 39p and has Courgettes & Parsnips rather than Savoy cabbage & Cauliflower.

    I must admit - 49p for a kilo of brown onions does seem a bit expensive. Both mrAl and mrL usually have brown onions for 39p. If they were red onions, I could sort of understand (but would wait for mrL to undercut them :rotfl:)
