Hi all,
I went BR in August and I have suddenly received a letter from a debt collection agency called: Mackenzie Hall.
I is basically a letter asking my whereabouts and to ring them to discuss a payment scheme!! Hahaha Fat chance!!!:rotfl:
Anyway, can anybody tell me what I am to do with this letter? Im presuming I forward it on for my examiner to sort out??
Any help would be appreciated.:D

Hi LATL,
Yeah, when we had this happen (they are not allowed to ask for payment BTW after they've been informed of your BR), we phoned our OR who told us just to forward them on to him as and when they arrived.

I now send all of these letters back but unfortunately forget to put a stamp on, this may inconvenience them when they have to pay the surcharge only to find the word BANKRUPT in red capitals on their letter.:D0

Is that before or after it has been in the bottem of the cat litter for a week or more

Hi all,
I will forward the letter onto my examiner, the other two IDENTICAL letters that came with it will be shredded with much happiness and will be used as additional christmas tree decoration (when the tree goes up in december)!!
Sounds good to me anyway!!!:D:D:D
Thanks guys.0 -
The only thing that is troubling me is the fact that Macenzie Hall were NOT on my list of creditors from my Experian and Equifax credit files which is obviously where I gained my most up-to-date list of creditors!!
Is this anything to worry about because if it is a debt that I did not discover whilst obtaining my credit files, it is now too late to add the debt to the bankruptcy and therefore I am responsible for it!!!
Any thoughts??0 -
All debts before BR day, including ones you may have forgot are included as far as I can tell.;)Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

I really hope you are correct "headoutofsand"!!
Its just that im sure, whilst browsing on here for the past 6 months, I have read that any debts not included in your BR forms that you fill in, are not included in the eventual bankruptcy??0
