in Credit cards
hi guys, can someone help me out?...
basically i am paying off a loan which will take me a few more years but other than this i have no credit history and as I have been looking into stoozing I tried to get a 0% card and was turned down. I have tried a few over the past year or so (I know you shouldnt apply to lots at the same time). Basically i think my credit rating is really poor because the only thing that shows up is my loan as I have never had anything else, not even a store card. My question is would it help if i got a credit card, something like Vanquis @ 39.9% and put my monthly food shop on there and paid it back in full each month would it help my credit score. I am really thinking about when the time comes to buy a house (I am giving myself 10 years for this). also, am i right in thinking that if i pay the amount off in full each month that i would not be charged any interest? are there any other fees that i need to think of? I am under the impression i would only owe what i spend as long as i make the payments in full each month. also would this be a good one to go for if i have a rubbish credit profile?? sorry for all the Q's. any help much appreciated!

You're completely right. Getting a credit card, regardless of APR, and using it for shopping and paying off in full each month will indeed help build your credit rating, and is a very worthwhile step.0
