It doesnt look like it, just about to cancel my card. What a pain.

I dont get the credit scoring either, I checked mine out (at more cost) Mine seems ok. In fact its better than my brothers, who can get any credit. All I needed was a small loan as I need to get some transport for a new job I have been offered, but cant even get that.
Seems like even the credit score companies are another rip off.
  • i too have been duped by "wentworth dricect finance" i too paid the 59 pounds in good faith and was charged twice!!!!. Ive recieved the dodgey forms for the loan. the only place that they are going is in the bin. How do people get away with it. Ive had to cancel my bank card so that they cannot take anymore of my money. Ralph Marlon is aledgedly a fake and a fraud. Please don't be conned like was, I know we all have problems but these people are a hinderence and not a help. Im going to write to ask for money back, watch this space.................:mad::mad:
  • Interesting thread, these guys need to be investigated asap. Applied three weeks ago for £1000. Stupidly did not go my research on here beforehand, and gave them my card details (3 weeks ago) the agent assured me no money would be taken and that I would need to send a cheque of £59 back to them once I had recieved the forms. I did not send any of my forms back as I no longer wanted to pursue the loan, and booom this evening they charge me £59 even though they recieved no cheque, no utility bill and no pay check, something they required in order to start the loan. Very unlawful indeed, Financial Obudsmen & Watchdog it is, lets get Wentworth closed down.

  • Good post, will be good for the newbies to avoid. (Such as myself, a few weeks back :( )

I have only paid the fee to Yesloans, around £69.50 and then a phone bill of around£50 to them.. so i didnt ring them back again, because they kept hanging up on me.. couldnt believe it.. not sure on how to get my money back exactly.. has anyone here got it back quick and succesfully? I'm not bothered if they take £5 of it or whatever..

    To Sally,
I DID THE SAME AS YOURSELF WITH ANOTHER COMPANY CALLED UNSECURED LOANS.COM. I SO WISHED THAT I HAD RESEARCHED BEFORE PAYING £69. THEY TELL YOU WHEN YOU PHONE THAT THEY HAVE PROVISIONALLY GOT A LOAN AGREEMENT FOR YOU, MINE WAS £2,000 FOR 12 MONTHS AT A PAYMENT OF £182 A MONTH. NOW TO SOMEONE WHO HAS BAD CREDIT AND IS NOT VERY GOOD WITH MONEY THIS IS GREAT ,BUT AS THE OLD SAYING GOS IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS.
I THEN PAY THE MONEY ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE MAJORITY OF LOAN COMPANYS HAVE REFUSED ME AND ONLY ONE WOULD GIVE ME A LOAN WHICH I PAY BACK DOUBLE WHAT I BORROWED AND HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE A HOMEOWNER SIGN FOR ME.
I THEN ALLOW THEM TO LOOK AT MY CREDIT FILE TO CORRECT ANY PROBLEMS THEY FIND WHICH THEY DONT CHARGE FOR. ONLY TO BE TOLD BITS OF INFORMATION THAT ANYONE COULD SAY ABOUT SOMEONE WITH BAD CREDIT AND IF I PAYED ANOTHER £14.99 THEY WOULD SORT IT OUT.
I TOLD THEM THAT I THROUGHT THEY WHERE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE IN MY SITUATION AND DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION I DIDN'T ALREADY HAVE. I ASKED FOR A REFUND, BUT OF COURSE DID NOT GET IT.
THE ABOVE INFORMATION I COULD HAVE FOUND OUT MYSELF AND I ONLY NEED TO PAY BETWEEN £2-10 POUNDS TO GET MY CREDIT INFORMATION TO FIX WHICH I WILL HAVE TO DO NOW.
THERE ARE SOME VERY GOOD PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP CITIZAN ADVICE, THIS SITE, YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY PLEASE PLEASE IF ONE PERSON READS THIS AND DOES NOT GO FOR A BROKER WHO CHARGES MONEY I WILL BE VERY HAPPY.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE THEY'RE ARE LOTS OF PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH MONEY ISSUES BUT PLEASE GO TO PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU AND THAT AREN'T WANTING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE. I WISH I HAD READ SALLY'S LETTER EARLIER.

My top tip of the day (apart from don't pay money to random companies) -

Using a wall of capital letters doesn't make your post easier, or more likely, to be read.

That'll be £59 for that bit of advice.
