Moving House - Looking For Advice

Hi guys,
I'm moving house in a few weeks and I'm looking for advice regarding moving phone/broadband/television.
Currently I have phone line rental with BT, calls and broadband with Tiscali, and television with Sky.
Obviously this is a bit of a mess so I'd like to get a combined package that covers phone/broadband/Television.
The house we are moving to already has Virgin phone and broadband set up so I don't know if this complicates matters or not.
Would really appreciate some advice!

Is there already a BT line in the property? If not then your only phone and BB options are Virgin until you have a BT line installed.
This is assuming the existing Virgin line is cable and not ADSL?
Bundles do not always offer the best deals and it totally depends what exchange you are on.
Check the LLU options on samknows.com, exchange search to start with.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I don't know for certain but I would imagine there would be a BT line in the property (it's a 100 years old). I only know from the home report that the current owners have phone and broadband with Virgin.0

Would you charge £122 for reconnection in the new property?0 -
BT's free instalation offer (18 month contract, make 10 chargeable or inclusive calls per month on BT) goes on until at least 31/12/09.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

garry79, there would be a connection charge of £122.50 raised if the line at the property is not showing as an active line on our system. Can you PM me your new address details and I will be more than happy to check this out for you.. Thanks Natasha“Official Company Representative
