How do i giveaway large amounts of unwanted T shirts to charity?
Options
I work for a resonable sized Entertainment company. We have nearly 10,000 old promo T shirts in the warehouse we no longer need, rather than bin them all i'd like to give them to Charity. I tried a Google search but nobody seems geared up for that kind of donation, while the old ladies at my local charity shops would have a heart attack if they had 10,000 t's dumped on their doorstep!
Can anyone please advise somewhere that might be willing to take such an amount?
Thank you

Find out if you have a school local to you that does bag2school collections. The school is paid per kg of textiles/clothing/soft toys/ shoes etc. I would welcome the donation for our school!!!!!0

The latest blue peter appeal is making hospital gowns, from T-shirts for a charity called Operation smile.
We made about 100 at our school last week, I am sure they would be interested.
You can google operation smile (UK) for more info.
Hope they can use them.

Remember if you do take them into a local charity shop, help th aged; oxfam, whatever although they wouldn't be able to sell a large number of t shirts, they could send them to their other shops around the country.
I think they probably have central warehouses.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Hi
I know of an excellent charity project that would be delighted to take them off your hands - one charity in the Uk works with disadvantaged youngsters and encourages them to help even more disadvantaged youngsters abroad - it is a really well run project and I am sure they would love to hear from you
I know I can't put my e mail address on here - but I will put the website of the charity if thats acceptable and perhaps you can make contact?
the lady i know of in the charity is Norma
their website is; www.canalboatadventureproject.co.uk
please don't be put off by their website and project title - they really do MUCH more
hope this helps BOTH of you!
