Virgin Flights Seating Allocation

Just booked last minute flight to Orlando with Virgin. What seats are available to allocate are not together. Is it better to not allocate and just let check in do it for you on the day. Is there a chance of better seats maybe? Just the 2 of us travelling. Thank you.

Do online check in and when you go through the process you will see more seats will be available.
If you are wanting to sit with kids do not worry, the gate staff will change things if needs be.
I have flown about 50 times with Virgin and the times ive taken my kids ive never not been able to get seats together.0 -
Yes they dont put all the available seats on the website, they generally hold some back for crew/allocation problems etc and if you get there early and explain the problem im sure they will sort it for you, they have done for us in the past!0

absolutely do online check-in and as close to 24 hours before the flight as you can to have the best chance...then if that doesn't work, get to check in as early as possible.
I assume your flight is from Gatwick? If so, they offer twilight check in the afternoon/evening before your flight. We always stay at a hotel at Gatwick when flying Virgin from there so we can get checked in and get rid of our bags the night before...we love it. But there is a cost of course to stay at a hotel that night, but may have an even better chance of getting seat allocations you're happy with. We normally check in online 24-hours before, then twilight check-in.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
