Has anyone had a good experience with Vertbaudet?

Couldn't decide between this board and the vent board, but as it relates to children's clothes I picked here...
Three years ago, I got some clothes from Verbaudet for my son. For various reasons, I decided not to shop with them again, but got sucked in this spring but it seems even worse. My main bad experience points with them are:
Sizing - everything is too small (the 9-12 months are more like 6-9 months for example) bearing in mind my children are not large by any stretch of the imagination;
TERRIBLE customer service - being left on hold for 30 minutes, being hung up on when I complained about a botched delivery and best of all, my most recent order had various offer codes and a slip of paper saying "order within 14 days and get free delivery". Of course, account comes, with delivery added. When I ring, they say "you should have put in the offer code". I had the piece of paper in front of me (it has no offer code on it). They then say it was only for internet orders (which mine was). They then say that they will "make an exception on this occaision, but not next time"...grrrr
Always getting inundated with offers - not a week goes by when I do not receive stuff from them saying 25% off the first and third item, next week the mailer says 30% of your third item, the week after it will be 10% off every second blue item you order...the recycling bin is getting a bit sick of it;
Finally, and this is one of my BIG gripes, is their finance company (Redcat finance) have just called me (when I was trying to get my baby to sleep) and said they have a "great offer" for me, and I need to provide all my security details to them. Um, what? Didn't they ring me? I am on a buy now, pay in October deal with no interest (and yes, I will pay it off in full before October), so no doubt they were trying to find a way of getting hold of my money.,...Told them that this was an unsolicited phone call, and I would not provide any personal details to them. Then she hung up on me!!!!
Has anyone had good experiences? I do find their clothes quite sweet, but not worth the hassle...

My experience of Verdbaudet:
I only received bumph in the post for about 6 months after my last order (xmas 2004) and I've never had their finance company ring up.
I've had no problems with their customer service, but have to agree about the sizing - my dd is 4 and has just outgrown a pair of age 5-6 jeans from them. I do like the clothes though, but have stopped ordering because of the sizing issue.

Good experiences here.
I've ordered with them a few times...purely for the freebies + discounted offers, mind you;) . Had to ring CS for an exchange once and sorted immediately with no hassle.
Never had any problems with them, although I do get fed up of the junk mail they send me. I also seem to be alone in finding their sizing okay...my boy is long and thin and his 3-6 month cardigan from them has only just got too short on the arm length...he's 22 months now.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I am Extremely angry with Vertbaudet at the moment.
I have an account with them which was opened in December last year. I had a telephone conversation with them yesterday as i couldn't get online to pay. It wouldn't log me in.
The man on the telephone said he would call me back, when he did call me back he was quite aggressive telling me that i needed to write to the investigations team as there was an account at my old address and the current tenant was claiming i am responsible for it. It isn't even in my name. It is in my ex partners name who has dissappeared off the face of the planet but according to them i am responsible for the debt because ..... b
Get this. The person at my old address has written in claiming the debt is mine. I don't even know them. Also how would they know about writing in with account numbers etc without illegally opening someone else's mail.
Anyway needless to say i'm not a happy bunny as they have now blocked my account until i write in and give them an explanation, for something that isn't mine.

I don't have any children myself, but my two friends (who have two each) have not a good word to say about Vertbaudet! Neither of them are still customers.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

I get a bit sick of the mail they send but you can unsubscribe from that. I also find the sizes small. I've always found the customer services friendly and proffesional. The quality of the stuff is good but mostly I like the choice of colours and styles they have for boys - i find a lot of shops have the same old same old for boys.0

Used them on and off for 9 years no problems. Just had a free £10 voucher which bought DS 2 new t-shirts. My elsest is fairly small anyway so I find the sizes perfect. The range of smart clothes has almost disapeared now though and its all bright coloured things.Barclaycard 3800

Lots of junk mail. Branded stuff is expensive. Own brand very colourful but not the best quality I find. Thin and badly made.Wildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls

bought from them a few years ago and recently requested another catalogue for my cousin. Clothes are way too small but no problems with service.MFWB
