I am sorry to hear of your loss. OHs dad has vascular dementia (diagnosed about 2 months ago) and we were hoping medication would help ease things although he has recently taken a turn for the worse, we are currently waiting for test results to see how things go. I understand what you say about not wanting your mum suffering, we are all hoping that his dad goes quickly when things get bad (possibly now) to make it easier for everyone.
