Hi
My second post here today ,
As the title says . Im stuck for ideas for a Christmas present for my better half ... " sighs", he literally has everything ....
I would prefer to give him something as an expression of how much I love him ,but once again I really have no idea what .
Any ideas please
Thank you ,
Mandi

I copied the idea a few years ago to do a '100 reasons why I love you' where I bought a fairly cheap glass jar and some sheets of different coloured paper and wrote them on strips and folded them up.
He opened a couple a day and really loved them.
Or what about a voucher booklet for nice things? Foot rub, early night
, meal out, free pass to play golf/ go to the football etc... without nagging? 0 -
If I gave my hubby a jar with 100 reasons why I loved him, he would think I had completely lost the plot, he is a manly man (or thinks he is) and wouldn't appreciate that or a voucher booklet, although I think both ideas are good.
With my hubby (who also has everything) over the years I have given him the following:
Telescope (not expensive) and paid for him and me to do a 20 week local astronomy course. It is really nice to have a shared hobby.
He can't eat gluten, so one year made up a hamper with all things G.F.
A wizzy camcorder, one that fits in your hand and you can download pics/vids straight to computer, his digital camera was getting old, so he was thrilled with this.
I got him a track day one year, where he went to Silverstone and drove all kinds of fast cars.
Also I sent him 4x4 driving, which he enjoyed more than the fast cars.
One of the best pressies was feeding meerkats at a zoo, he loves all things fluffy (not such a manly man now you may notice), I also adopted a meerkat for a year from Jersey Zoo (a zoo we both love).
Had a fav pic of his put on a canvas.
A wrist watch one year.
One year a PS2, another year a Wii, then obviously some games for Birthdays.
One Xmas he got a scalextric (wot a big kid)
I got him a Liverpool stadium tour for £30 which included a 3 course meal in one of the executive boxes, which was very cool.
This year I will be searching the IWOOT.com for unique and quirky gifts.
It is my dad who I have a major problem finding gifts for.0 -

100 reasons - OMG!! I would struggle to get into double figures at the moment.

Heres an idea fo you rockporkchop;
'I love that you sometimes put the loo seat down'
'I love it when you eventually fix the wobbily table'
' I love that you ocassionaly don't snore'
lolIt only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

Theatre tickets, trip on london eye, dinner cruise (bateaux boats in london Fabulous!), dinner on the orient Express (or lunch) Fabulous again!, Romantic picnic somewhere special to you both, My fave was taking my other half to Prague for his birthday. He was gobsmacked that I did it all online (easy), it included flights-transfer car-sightseeing trip-dinner dance cruise, all for less than £500.00! Excellent trip.
Best thing about these type of gifts is that you have to go with him........ hehehehehehe0 -
