Son is due to travel to Inida soon. In the past he has used Nationwide flex account with no charge. I am not sure what the position is now, has nw started to charge for using debit card abroad? Thanks

They have started to charge people using debit cards in certain countries. More details: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/current_account/foreigntransactions.htm (scroll down to the 'A-Z Countries' section).0

Nationwide still don't charge as such.
What they do now is pass on the Visa exchange rate loading of 1% (outside Europe). This compares with a minimum charge of 2.75-3% with most other cards.0 -
can the flexaccount be used at any cashpoint with a cirrus sign in India?
thanks in advance0
