It was being promoted in Leeds and we did really well and paid nothing - by not buying any.

The dry was unpleasant, the medium was truly awful , we waited until he opened another bottle of each, but they were no better.

At £3 a bottle I suspect M&S are still making a profit.

Thanks OP! Grabbed 6 bottles of the Brut in Cambridge Beehive store (only opened two days ago ) Also found their jalepeno chilli tortilla chips on 241 - we like these for special occasions so grabbed a couple of bags for Christmas. Will go nicely with the Discovery tequila salsa I found in Sainsburys for 45p a few weeks ago

Loads of cava left on the shelf for anyone else in the Cambridge area

I beg to differ.
I'm not a drinker but I've just opened a bottle of dry and I've really enjoyed it.

I do like my cava/champagne very dry. It was lovely. It was very chilled thru, but I find these type of wines need to be cold.

Thank you very much - I got 6 white and 6 rose yesterday. Also had £16 of M&S vouchers to use up so even more of a bargain!

i can confirm that the offer ends tomorrow - we go thru tons of the stuff over xmas as theres always someone popping round - so i bought twelve on friday - opened one last night and it was fab, went back for another twelve today - great find!

they have boxes of choccies (brazil nuts, cherry brandy chocs etc) on 3 for £6 wine and chocs for just over a fiver really if you do them for prezzies.....id be happy to recieve those :-D
