virgin landline and over riders

I have a virgin landline and up until recently have been using an overrider telephone account (First Telecom) to call abroad. It took me two tries to find one that could give me decent reception. For the last few weeks my overrider hasn't worked, each time I'm getting a message saying the number has not been recognised. I contacted the company and they've done some tests and there is no problem on their end. Is it possible that virgin are blocking my overrider? Anyone have experience with this?

Surely if VM were blocking the access number it would affect all of First Telecom customers using the service, not just you.
One alternative is http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php they can work out cheaper then FT.0 -
the technician at first telecom certainly thought it was a possibility. I tried 18185 already but the reception was so bad I gave up on them.0
