I have been offered a refund of PPI insurance premium interest.... Should I accept or try for a complete refund of all premiums.

    Hi there

They have only offered the interest?
So this is a goodwill offer and they have not accepted it was mis sold, if your not happy and still feel the policy was mis sold, I would personally ask them to reconsider to put you back in the position as if you did not have ppi and the interest, its up to you though, if they do not accept this, you can always take your case to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) it is entirely up to you, either way good luck.

PS, or ask if they can offer a more reasonable offer where you may consider.;)

I'm also claiming against freedom finance and have been told that I would receive a decison by 30th October. When I phoned them yesterday I was told that no decision had been made yet. It only gives them another day to put something in the post to me. A waiting game I suppose.

Between Freedom, Money matters and cardiff pinacle they havnt a clue whats going on, been told this morning from pinacle that there is no expiry on insurance, money matters then told me 10 mins later that it was for 5years, no wonder im getting confused :D
really confused now and still dont think they know what they are doing -
recieved in post yesterday Copy Policy document (from Cardiff Pinnacle)
It states on policy that the start date was 1st September 2004(where they get this date from I dont Know) there is also no names on this document!!!!!
Also that we were only covered for Life, Disability and redundancy.
Then they included a typed schedule of cover -
which states state date is 17th January 2006 (which is correct) but then included we were covered for Acc, Disability, Red and hospitalisation which is not stated on the document.
The copy of the Policy document i really dont think is ours!!!
Also the Premium was £4270.00 (including IPT of 203.33) does anyone know what IPT is cos i havnt got a clue!!!!

I think its Insurance Premium Tax.

Why don't you question the policy with them and see what they come up with.
