i would say if your demands are low then go for the Celeron although in general, get the fastest processor you can afford as it will stand you in good stead in the long run.0

Celeron are the cut down version of the Pentium. For some things you will see hardly any differences between the two, for others things or when you start to heavily multitasking the differences becomes much clearer. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I'd always go for a Pentium over a Celeron, although it depends upon what the price difference is. What is the price difference???"Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0

about £100 price difference but the pentium has double gb and ram of the celeron0

And what is the total cost of each system. Just in the sense that £100 isn't as much to a £1,000 system compared with a £400 system.
For the £100 though I'd probably go for the Pentium. A stronger cpu, plus you'll have more ram, and more storage space. In the long term it's something you'll probably appreciate.
More details on what you use the system for, how much you use it, what your budget is etc, would help give better advice."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
go for the pentium
Thanks Tom :-)0
