account that no one can withdraw money from?

My boyfriend has a little girl that he isn't allowed contact with at the moment, so unfortunately she doesn't get to have any christmas or birthday presents. Now we want to open a bank account or something similar which no one can withdraw money from other than her when we are able to see her. At least then we can put money in this every week, christmas and birthdays.
But we don't know what account is the best to do this with or anything and we are asking if anyone has been in this situation and what account they think is the best to use.

No, you can't do that I'm afraid, because you can't contact her, she can't be party to it. Your best bet would be just to open a savings account and fill it.0

Most high street banks will allow him to open an account in trust for his daughter. My boyfriend has a little girl that he isn't allowed contact with at the moment, so unfortunately she doesn't get to have any christmas or birthday presents. He'll need the usual ID for himself and the birth certificate for his daughter. He should be able to obtain a copy of this from the registry office if needed.
The named trustee (e.g. your boyfriend) is the only person who can sign for a withdrawal on the account - his daughter won't be able to.0 -
I think it is very tight not to be allowed to see your own daughter.

It depends - banks have young saver accounts - these days often opened up in the name of the child - when they get to a certain age (7 in the case of LTSB) they can sign on the account.
If they want total control it would be better in the name of the parent.0
