Nectar points vanished!

My Mum bought a new kitchen in Homebase and had a total of 28,515 points, but the next time she went to Sainsbury's to use some of her points for her shopping, all but a few points had disappeared. She was told by the cashier, she didn't have enough to pay for all her shopping!

She has made numerous phone calls to the Nectar line and each time, they said they would appear by the next time she went shopping, but they haven't. She wrote to Sainsbury's head office in Holborn, London, but they haven't even acknowledged her letter!

This surely is fraudulent. What can she do now?

How can it be fraudulent, Nectar have ackowledged the problem and said they should reappear. If they haven't done so far justr keep on at them. I don't think Sainsbury's will be able to help you as your argument is with Nectar.

Have you logged into your account on the Nectar web site to see what's happened?

    Fraudulent? How?

Probably because its nothing to do with them. They don't own Nectar or Homebase so why they would be interested I don't know.

Exactly. Please don't contact Sainsburys about it - you'll just get given Nectar contact details! Have you registered online, is it possible that they have been spent already? You should be able to check that online, I would've thought. They can't just vanish without trace.

Nectar have said Homebase can only add 1000 points per transaction!!!shame it didn't say that before the kitchen was bought!!:mad::mad:
