Car selling Nightmare

  • If you filled in your part of the logbook and sent it off then it is no longer your problem.

The buyer could have sold it 20 times over yet the new logbook will still get sent to them.
  • Potnoodleprincess MY GOD!! I'm surprised you need a car anyway! With all this flapping you'd be better off flying with the birds...!

Did you get the buyer to sign a receipt or bill of sale with the date and time on it?

Exactly, always pays to do this, my BIL got caught out this way, sold the car on saturday, got round to posting of the slip mid week. Problem was the car got a parking ticket on sunday 200miles away. He did have to pay.

But as said earlier, with the exception of Inactives advice, I don't think you have anything to worry about.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Thing is Harvey some folks are very keen to keep their motoring "honest". Unfortunately others aren't. Luckily PNP is now aware of this;)
